Synthetic sample. Every request in this trace is made up. The dApp sample-dapp.test does not exist, and the wallet and transaction were generated for the demo and belong to nobody.
Real browser capture, synthetic dApp, real Reown AppKit. The same dApp, but the wallet connects through Reown AppKit (ethers adapter, default features). Playwright opened the AppKit modal and picked the NODAL Test Wallet. AppKit’s own requests to Reown and WalletConnect hosts used the real network; the .test hosts are local stand-ins. What AppKit sends depends on its version and project settings; this shows one run. Reown is a compatibility target, not a partner. How it works
Real browser capture, synthetic dApp. Playwright ran a wallet-connection flow (EIP-6963 discovery, EIP-1193 connect, SIWE-style sign-in) in headless Microsoft Edge and recorded every request. The dApp and its .test hosts are local stand-ins, so no request left the machine. The NODAL Test Wallet speaks the same provider interface injected wallets such as MetaMask expose; it is not MetaMask, holds no keys, and returns a fixed mock signature. Host categories are declared in the scenario. How it works
Before you choose a file
- HAR files can contain cookies, auth tokens, API keys and personal data.
- NODAL reads the file in this browser tab only. Nothing is uploaded. This page cannot make network requests.
- Only request fields are kept in memory. Clear everything or closing the tab removes them.
- Use a test wallet and test accounts when you capture.
Unredacted exports contain full wallet values and URLs. Handle them as sensitive.
